"First Man" and Omega

Ryan Gosling takes on a new role that seems to be perfect for him, we have seen him wear countless Omegas in multiple movies including his vintage Omega in La La Land but this time he gets to experience true Omega history. This time he is playing Neil Armstrong in a biopic of the journey that was the first man on the moon, ironically called First Man. The trailer looks insane, we think about how amazing that space travel is but being the first to travel there is beyond my comprehension but this movie helps put that in perspective. And let me just say I would not have wanted to be Neil Armstrong!

But we are talking about the true star of the movie, the Omega Speedmaster and how it will make an appearance. Of course, during the trailer you see a few of them pop up on wrist once and awhile, but what will be its true presence and introduction in the movie, if any?

With the Rolex Vintage market just rising, we wonder if this movie will affect the Omega vintage market, especially the vintage speedy's. And if they will surprise the desire for watches such as the Rolex Daytona. Due to is poor performance compared to the Speedmaster during the 60s.
