David King And King Jewelers Nashville.

In a town where there is no Redbar or forum of watch nerds that meet every Tuesday night around cocktails. King Jewelers has been the light in the darkness for many watch enthusiasts. From Nashville to the surrounding states of Tennessee, people come from far and wide to visit this unique place. Today we spend our days shopping online, even the watch community has slowly and slightly gone that route. But nothing changes picking up a watch and putting on your wrist for the first time and deciding then and there that this is the one. You get to feel and judge every detail whether good or bad, weight out the pros and cons, and have a professional standing right in front of you giving you all the details you could ever want about that piece.

It’s an experience, not just a purchase. I got to sit down and speak with David King and discuss watches, the business, and everything going on with his store, the full interview is on the podcast. You can hear the energy and excitement in his voice when he discusses watches. And more of all, the customer experience he provides to everyone in his store. King Jewelers has a vast collection of brands from IWC to Breitling, Rolex, Tudor, Jaeger LeCoultre, Cartier, and Montblanc, and much more. It's a watch geeks dream and will overwhelm you with an emotion of pure joy when you walk in.

This interview wasn’t the first time I walked in the glass doors on this heaven on earth, each year King Jewelers proudly puts on the Nashville Watch Show (something we touched more on in the podcast) which last year I visited for the first time, I was greeted with great hospitality and I was able to talk to many representatives from major watch companies. Being an obviously young college kid and never fully looking the part to own one of these luxury timepieces ( which I can’t by the way, College is currently taking all my money ) I was treated with respect. Something I don’t always receive In said places, I was able to try on any piece I wanted and really got a grasp on all the information from every watch that touched my wrist. As I’m writing this to just speak my mind as my experience but to really to relate to everyone, from a long time watch collector to a college kid looking into watches and the world on horology for the first time. King Jewelers is the best place to go to buy your next watch, they will carefully guide you into the perfect purchase for your budget, collection, and personality giving you something you can own for a lifetime and will last even longer.

I highly recommend listening to the full interview (in which you can find the link in the podcast tab of our website), It was an honor and privilege to sit down and talk watches and industry with David King. And I can sit and write about it for hours and pages, But I think it will be so much more beneficial and entertaining to hear him speak for yourself.
