Bulova reissue?

A retro, vintage-inspired reissue that has taken the watch enthusiast by storm. Are you thinking Omega? Maybe Rolex? Nope Bulova … shocking I know! With Bulova being one of the best and brightest in my book they have recently been pumping out cheap quartz watches that are too modern and over sized. Something the average consumer might pick up but not something that the hobbyist find very appealing. But with the release of the precisionist and still keeping up with some automatic movement’s we haven’t lost sight of them or dismissed them completely. But now with the release of the Chronograph C a complete vintage reissue, it has opened our arms to welcome Bulova back in. Maybe we will see a redirection into the styles they have been putting out? We can only hope.

“The daring design of Bulova’s Chronograph C burst on the scene in 1970—an era defined by decadent modernism and rapid-fire space-age explorations. The watch quickly became one of Bulova’s most iconic timepieces—and is now being reintroduced as part of our Archive Series”

As Bulova states on their website, which is the best way to describe their watch. A “reintroduction”. Which it is 100% a reintroduction with the 262kz Quartz movement, which I truly admire. ( which I have a whole other article all about my Bulova with the same movement which you can go read) It’s truly vintage, with a spaceship-like case that you would only see in the 70’s, bright red hands and blue and white background that really complement each other but at the same time scream the area it was once produced.

At 750 dollars with the box set (an extra leather navy blue strap) you almost can’t go wrong, at 46mm it’s a tad big for my own taste but can’t argue too much with the small cons of this watch. It would go great in your collection, or If your a new watch geek I would be a great pick up. Will it be worth anything later? No, but I would be great for some serious wrist time. This is a great watch, with a great history and design, from a company with great history, at a price you can't deny. I recommend you go check it out for yourself!
